Stock Chart for WPF & Silverlight: Comparing Data in Multiple Data Sets

Comparing Data in Multiple Datasets

Multiple data sets

You can have multiple data sets (stocks). Your users will be able to select the data set from a drop-down box. They will also be able to compare one data set with others. As values of different data sets can be very different, they can be recalculated to percents when comparing. This is common practice in stock charts.

Data grouping

If there are more data points in the selected period than indicated, the data can be grouped into longer periods - weeks, months, years. You can choose the value that you want to show for the period - open, close, average, sum, low or high.
